Last week we finished a lot of work and had some fun in the end...UAF Outdoor Day at Tanana Lakes was a huge success and Friday night's "Lock-in" was a blast. Pizza, movies, games, oh my...
I hope you had a nice weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all supermoms out there! This is our final week of school and we have a lot of things happening as we wrap things up. The main event for our sixth-graders is a graduation on Friday. It will be held in the gym from 10:30-12:00. Immediately after, families are welcome to join in on the picnic here at school. Lunch will be provided by our fabulous PTA.
This morning, we have another field trip. We will leave Woodriver at 9:30 AM and be dropped off at Pioneer Park. We will play and have lunch until 11:30, then we will walk over to Arctic Bowl, where the kids will bowl and play until about 1:30 PM. Students staying behind will stay with Mr. Kinder and work on projects that they have yet to complete.
Reminder: Early out (2:00 PM dismissal) this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!
Finally: This is our final week of school and the last blog post of the year! It has been a pleasure working with you and your child. Have a nice summer.
